Michele Fisher Gomez,
(KPS Airtable Developer)
Michele graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Soviet & East European Area Studies 7 months before both the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe began to crumble. (Her timing has always been impeccable.) Undaunted by the loss of her career in spycraft, she spent a summer at Norwich University's intensive language program in Russian language and later moved to Moscow, Russia. She returned 18 months later to continue her education in Slavic Languages & Literatures at the State University of New York at Albany. Although she didn't finish that program, she did manage to find her future husband and home along the way.
Michele has worked as an administrative assistant and a lifeguard; she has worked in a knitting store and a white shoe corporate law firm; she ran a residential summer camp swimming and boating program and, in late 2019, she co-founded pressGO design, a boutique website design firm. 6 months later, the world shut down. (See? Impeccable timing.) In every single one of her positions, Michele's innate design and process skills always bubbled to the surface. She's now a certified Airtable Builder who specializes in creating order out of digital chaos. Her superpower is turning data into information, and she has yet to encounter a problem that can’t be solved with conversations, coding, and coffee.
When she's not bringing order to unruly databases, Michele can be found actively ignoring the amount of dog hair on the floor of the home she shares with her family. She is active in her synagogue, serves on the Board of Trustees of the school her children attended, and enjoys knitting, laughing, and margaritas.
