Ensuring the confidentiality and security of your legal information is a top priority at KPS. Here's a glimpse into our meticulous process:
1. Airtable Conflict Checks: Before diving into any work, we conduct a comprehensive conflict check using Airtable (our internal database). Every piece of party information, court detail, and case specifics are meticulously entered to ensure thorough conflict checks—leaving no room for oversight.
2. Client-Driven Security: Most of our clients operate on cutting-edge case management software like MyCase and Clio, prioritizing the security of their legal case information. These platforms adhere to stringent security measures, safeguarding your sensitive data.
3. Secure Dropbox: When documents or case information are exchanged for one-time projects, we utilize the secure Dropbox, ensuring a safe and confidential transfer of information.
4. SurfShark VPN Protection: We go the extra mile with SurfShark, a secure VPN that adds an additional layer of protection to our online activities. Your data remains confidential and protected against potential online threats.

Once you have signed and returned our Retainer Agreement (which specifically lays out the Employer/Contractor relationship status), we will introduce you to your team of experienced paralegals. If needed, we will set you up with a Dropbox file in order for you to share your files with us. If you utilize case management software; such as Clio, MyCase, etc. we can get setup to access your files in that manner as well.
For clients that need sporadic assistance; we allow those clients to simply email us the assignment, case info and any due dates. Depending on the assignment; our turnaround time for simple items are usually 48-72 hours.
Once the assignment is complete, it is sent to the attorney for review. Our experienced freelancers really try to get the assignments completed with accuracy and little to no errors. Of course, if corrections are needed, we will perform those corrections.
KPS invoices its clients on a monthly basis.
